Anyone hunt Italy

[Bigjay73]

The entire country is bird heaven, apparently the wild boar and deer are overpopulated. Anyone ever hunt Italy? I just got back from a non-hunting trip, not sure i could financially justify a trip just to hunt, anyone have any hunting stories? 2 legged Italians don't count!

I got nothing but Hemingway's protagonist in Across the River shoots some ducks in the lagoons around Venice.

I ran into an outfitter recently who runs a pretty good gig there. Its set up for husband and wife. The wife goes cheese and wine tasting while the husband goes hunting. Seemed pretty enticing and a way to justify getting over there to hunt.
