I'm certain the muley I killed last year died within 400 yards of where you were working. Did you guys go up the trail behind the guard shack or did you walk down through Jackass Flats and head straight up the hill? Pretty cool seein your pics on here.

We hiked to the mouth of little loon (across jackass flats) then about 2 miles up little loon. From there straight up to the top. You could get there by hiking up the ridgeline from Jackass Flats, but it would take a lot longer.

Value? Really? I'd have to say that one of the longest running vegetation data collection programs in this country has some value...
