Found my place for opening day pheasants

Was out visiting a client today and decided to check on one of the place I will hit on opening day. Looks like it will be a nice year.

Walked about 20 feet and hens started to flush.

Some singles and some doubles.

I watched where they landed and eased my way over to see how many birds where there.

I think that "hen" in the first pic is a young rooster.

Looks like a great spot to be hunting pheasants. I'm a little jealous. Pheasants are a little hard to find here in SE Idaho.
