Forest Service camping/parking question

ok so im gonna head to 416 and some other Fs units north of white sulphur first week of November I know it will be cold be heres my question , where can I park, I mean can I park on any approach and walk in from there ? and I might just sleep in my pickup, so again where can I park legally ? thanks . will be there during the week to try miss a lot of weekend hunters

The Forest Service goes by their term "dispersed camping". Which means you can camp on public lands about anywhere it's not specifically banned. You can also drive off ATV trails a short distance to camp and be legal too.
Lately, at some of the Colorado trailheads, I'm seeing warning signs that say there have been break ins to vehicles, so to guard yourselves against being ripped off. So, take some preventative actions against this.
