Football General Talk

[Southern Elk]

What has happened to the Chargers? I think Harbaugh is in danger of losing his job.

Crazy...you think they could have a mustered one win anyway.

Well I do not think it reasonable to figure they would beat the Chiefs. I do not remember who else they have played, but if they are playing mostly contenders, then maybe it is not so hard to believe. Sort of the opposite of the Vikings. They are winning, but look at who have they played.

Dak needs to relocate...anywhere would be better.

As much as I hate to admit it, he is too talented to piss away his career for Jerry. mtmuley

[Pucky Freak]

He was on his game last night. But Dallas looked truly lost. Caleb Williams had it going on. I saw a little bit of Kirk Cousins too, and he also seemed to be in his groove. I think he is one of the most underrated QBs out there.

Well, he'll retire filthy rich but with no hardware. Pickens and Lamb are phenomenal, the offense should be b etter.

That team has been loaded with talent for years. With nothing to show for it. The one time since Jerry another man ran the football end of the Cowboys, it was different. Despite the success, he couldn't deal with it. mtmuley

I’m a Dak fan. As a Mississippi State graduate, he has made me very proud. His life story is incredible. And he is a good man. I would love to see him win a Super Bowl, no matter who it’s with, but what he has accomplished so far is good enough. Growing up in Northwest Louisiana, he’s always been a Cowboys fan. Talk about the American dream. He’s living proof.

Yup. You are absolutely right.

BTW, good to see you're still with us this morning. I was thinking we should probably have put you on a suicide watch after last night... just kidding, but I was genuinely feeling bad for you.

So what should Dallas do now, if only Jerry would let it happen?

I'm not sure anyone would pay the big bucks for Dak at this stage in his career, and I am not sure how many good coaches would coach for him now. Maybe Tomlin. He is available anyway. Or a soon to be available Harbaugh.

[Treeshark]

I don’t know about that, he’s only 33- has 5 years minimum before he’s an “old” QB in today’s NFL.
