Football General Talk

I’m not certain Matt Lafleur is aware that the Pack needs to score twice to get to 10 points. WTF is he doing running the clock down?

Watch him more closely. mtmuley
Did I really say that? Probably, but I don't recall.

In watching tonight, I got to thinking he might be the walking definition of a QB just good enough to get his coach fired. That might be a but harsh, but I do not see elite. He just bounced one into a wide open receiver.

If he was a free agent, about 3/4 of the teams in the league would be trying to sign him.

I do not agree. But be that as it may, he has made a couple really nice throws, tossed a couple not so great ones and fumbled. There, a second touchdown. So far, so good. Lots of QBs did that yesterday, however.

Harry Pope, if you know of him, said something to the effect that a great rifleman is not someone that makes a plethora of great shots, but rather someone with an absence of bad shots. I think this applies to Dak. He is shooting okay tonight, so far. Maybe this will be a good night for him. He should crush the Raiders.

Mcarthy is awesome. Imagine if the Queens had Dak. mtmuley
You might look up my comments on McCarthy this last couple of weeks.

I do not know anything about any queens, but they would be Sam Darnold good, at best, and I doubt even that.

You’re right. Just a below average half. No other teams would want him. 😉

His is a good QB. I never said he sucks. But "Elite" is the absence of bad games. Hell, Joe Flacco has more Superbowl rings and a great game every so often. But is he "Elite"?

As always, it has been fun. Looks like the 'boys might win this one.
