Food Storage In Bear Country

I don’t think this is the way. I am guessing that a newbie backpacker from the D.C. area read about the need to hang food due to bears. I am also guessing he/she didn’t read the part that said bears can climb trees (or maybe even stand on their back legs to swat down a low hanging/sitting food bag). Since I was looking for bears, maybe I should have hung out in this spot.
