Fish mount on an elkhorn

Went to taxidermy school last year for fish.I found this elkhorn shed last spring and thought a fish mount would look cool on it. Something different.

Here's one more of a beautiful brook trout that i just finished for a 4 year old kid. His first fish!! It was a dandy!

Are these skin mounts or replicas? Great work, they look awesome, but that brookie mounts looks phenominal!

Thank you!They are both skin mounts. I even impressed myself with that brook trout.lol. They are such a colorful vibrant fish!

The brookie was 16" but you couldn't get your hand around its body. Not sure of the weight but it was a tank of a brook trout. Biggest one I've ever seen personally.

I would have said the brookie was a replica. It's rare to see one with that much color.
