The boss wanted some peace and quiet yesterday so I took advantage by taking my girls out on their first ever goose hunt. Even after I "brushed" their burlap with some straw they struggled a bit to keep their heads down. The beauty of early season geese is that it didn't matter much. No shots were taken but I landed 100 or so geese 40 yards ahead of us. When a single, lost snow goose came in among a flock of 25 or so honkers both kids were standing, pointing and yelling to me "A WHITE ONE DAD, A WHITE GOOSE!"

Fun times were had by all and we were back home in time for bath and dessert.

Cool pics! Keep taking them and when they are teenagers they may still want to hang out with you :)

good times smalls. I took my youngest and the dog at the same time a few times during the early season. . .we did get a couple killed but with her and the dog wrestling and giggling in the blind I don't know how!! Still great memories though!!:D
