First Buck......Juvenile Hunter

One of my hunting buddies called me at 8:35 this morning and told me his 14 year old daughter killed her first antlered buck on a juvenile rifle hunt.

She shot the buck at 75 yards with a .284 Browning Micro Medallion.

First off, Congratulations to the hunteress on her first buck.

Second, congratulations to the huntress for the doe.

Thirdly, Congratulations to the father for raising a DAUGHTER who not only hunts, but shoots, hits her target and is willing to pull the trigger on a 284 Micro Medallion, TWICE..

I had one of those, shot it twice then sold it. It's a great round in the right rifle. For me, that not the right rifle. It kicks like a Mutha.....
