First AK Moose!!

My cousin who lives in Anchorage asked if I wanted to tagalong on a 2016 DIY public land moose hunt this fall. Of course I said yes without hesitating! The unit we hunted in is over the counter bull tags. The hunt was 10 days long, a trip so unbelievably fun, I will never forget it! Well long story short, we called in a beautiful bull and I harvested this beauty with one shot, .338 WinMag, couldn't be happier! We will eat well this winter!
