It’s been a long season for us without seeing a deer. Well that changed tonight, a nice big doe came by behind us at 70 yards. One shot from the 243 with Nosler factory ammo and down she went. Super proud of my boy. I will say that was a long mile out in that muddy bean field. But well worth it

Thanks everyone. This was his first doe. Last year we hunted hard but never could make it work. Kept seeing the wrong deer in the wrong season. We just got done working her up and fried up a nice backstrap steak for the boy. The daughter and him chowed it down in like 2 minutes. Good times for sure
