Few less headed south

Good job, what are the temps on these September hunts? The goose hunt's I participate here in Idaho require a lot of cold weather gear....

Some of my best hunts up there have been in the early combined pea fields. Sure looks like fun ! Keep us posted on your hunts ! Helps take the sting out of not being there.

How does it work on big honkers? We have a bird hitch, and it works great on anything smaller than honkers. It sucks big time on big honkers.
I don't know what you guys have for "Big" honkers.
Here in MT, it works fine for everything we have, It sits up and down and you can jam them on with a lot of authority.
They don't work on swan or crane the bodies are just too long.

I'm assuming our definitions of big honkers are about the same since I'm in MT too. Good to know it works, the bird hitch just mangles them, I think the ribs are a lot tougher and thicker on the big ones and the hitch struggles. Works great on snows, specks, and lessers though.
