I was gonig to be smart and Right clicked the birds to see what MtMiller named them but I didn't think "47b6d822b3127cce8985d492090a00000015100AcsmjFy1csWPg" was a bird ;)

Is the 2nd one a Sand piper ?

I know, I know....;)

Do you like the "properties" info on my shots Oscar. Gotta host my pics elsewhere now. Seemed to have lost all my pics from here too. Figured you were going broke hosting all my crap and shut me down.:D

#2 correct
#3 incorrect hint-larger bird and the pecker color is a good identifier
#4 hint-rather rare bird, does well in very short grass areas, this one was on a prairie dog town, killdeer sized

May I ask why you were looking at his pecker?

Not on the Curlew, we used to shoot them like gophers a quater of a century ago. However I did phone a friend on number 3, lotta good that did. Couldn't tell by the color of his pecker, his legs in the way.:)

Maybe that is why they are now a sensitive species in Montana.;)

How could your shoot these sweet looking feathered critters? I think this guy is telling what he thinks about you shooting his family members.

In case you didn't hear the first time.

Oak, go ahead and answer #4 for these guys. It was proposed for listing a few years ago, but I know where to find a few.:D

I saw a few in WY when scouting for antelope in July a couple of years ago, too. I believe that would be a mountain plover.

Nice curlew pics. I've still got to learn how to use this new camera. Here's one for you, ready to have a snack. Any guesses anyone?
