Has anyone actually seen any of this in any caliber on store shelves in MT? All I ever see is Nosler Partition and Nosler ballistic tip anymore, well, I actually don't see much of anything anymore, but my point is, before the Newtown shooting, did you ever see this stuff? Where, and what town?

I tried putting a bug in a few ears around Kalispell to try and get this stuff, but we will see.

I've been shooting Trophy Bonded Tips for the last three seasons and shot Trophy Copper last season. I am very impressed with it. I have been shooting 180 grains in the .308 and .300 Win. Very accurate in those rifles.

And, when it hits critters, both have been very lethal. I recovered one of the .300 Win Trophy Copper from my MT bison. I should take a pic and post it here.

Well you must be hoarding it all Randy. I have never seen it on a store shelf. I have read about your exploits shooting it on here. I would like to try it out! I will take a box of each of the copper and the bonded tip in 7mm-08, .270, and 30-06. LOL.

Seriously, I will be in Billlings, Bozeman, Missoula, even as far as Glendive later on. If someone knows a little hole in the wall shop with this stuff, and you are willing to share, let me know.

The internet is your friend... ;)

Unless you're in a big hurry, I'd just order it online, even backorder it, and try it when it gets here. With the price of gas, at least around here, often times shipping is less than driving around looking for it or picking it up. For example, if you have a Cabelas Visa they often run promotions for a $5 flat rate shipping. I can't drive very far on $5.

That said, there are some online retailers showing some in stock for those chamberings:

PS- Cards got the bats going last night! :D

Yes they did. 1-1 now. LOL. God that is a long season. I could only watch the line score online.

I am all over for work, so it isn't like I am going out of my way. So I just try to keep my eye open. I am good for bear season, so I am in no hurry. I saw a case of 9mm get opened and set out for sale here last night right before closing time at a store here in Helena, that is the first of that I have seen in a while. Hopefully things will settle down and start moving in the other direction and they can get shelves stocked up again.

I'm generally relegated to watching the scores as well. I only live 5.5hrs from St. Louis be the regional sports channel carries the friggin Reds! Booo-hisss....
