Texas plates stole my duck spot on canyon ferry, shooting at buffleheads at 70 yards. so I went pheasant hunting and killed a limit of wild ones with my golden retriever. Met a couple dudes with Bozeman plates and 3 pointers in the parking lot who let me know it’ all shot out.

I think its been 8 years since I last killed a big game animal NOT in R3.
The quality has tanked. But its doable.
I stopped getting worked up over things a little, which helps.
