Dang, the stuff you accumulate over a 40 year period. Been moving since last Wednesday & almost done.

Been in the current place since 2005, that is the longest since reaching adulthood(term used loosely) Can't imagine 40 years worth.

NHY, as long as you got the stuff packed you might as well head North!!!

Funny you ask...had a small moving company comprised of off duty firemen do the heavy lifting Saturday. took 7 of em to a pizza joint for lunch.

..headed that way in October..seems we bring enough chit that it feels like moving.

I'm starting to move our family as well today. I have until next thursday but man am I dreading it. Dink I wish you lived by me I'd take you up on your offer I move almost every 2 years and I always say that I'm going to reduce the junk. I'm thinking that i must of accumulated more on this one.

Good luck with the move NHY. Moving sounds like heavy lifting so I don't think I'll volunteer to help out; but if you need someone to rifle through your hunting gear and say "you don't want this do you?" every few minutes, I'm your man!

I'm wrapping up a move as well. I moved up here with a 12' cargo trailer full of chit, and managed to move 4 trailers full a year and a half later... go figure.

Glad its about done, this should be the last one for a while.

I've moved over a dozen times in my days... mostly local moves.... once to Dallas area, then back again 2 years later.... It sucks pond water, just like the city life...

On one of my moves I went up to the High School and asked the Football Coach for 4 big players who NEEDED some money. You get the right Kids and everything is a contest......I can lift that, get out of the way! It was done in no time and the boys were happy to earn the money. John
