A friend of mine sent me a pic today of his unlimited ram taken by arrow - he’s wearing converse all stars, jeans and a button up shirt. I’m not joking.

Is this the same goofy friend that used to take trophy photos in the buff? Congrats to whoever the goofy friend is. That is a rare accomplishment.

I knew a guy years ago that used to pack into the Hellroaring every fall to hunt elk in the early season. He had killed bulls in there half a dozen years in a row. He said he loved that early season because he could wear his tennis shoes.

We used to backpack into some mountain lakes in there when I was in my teens and would wear tennis shoes because they would grip the rock so much better. They were probably Converse because that is what everyone wore then.

It looks like a 5 year old ram and super heavy on the base. It’s a good one in the unlimited units in my opinion. Hard working young hunter for sure. He out pictures on IG so I’m sure they’ll make the rounds.

unlike the B-lamb, it is undeniably a legal ram. Just very young.

I saw pics of a couple recent Idaho rams that make the boddington ram look like a WR. One is a three year old and the other maybe 1? Maybe we need to bring back a curl restriction

I would have been pretty stressed out walking up to it. It's 100% legal but too close for me personally. However not many people can say they have killed a UL ram with a bow.

If a 3-5yo trailhead ram is worth a 7 year wait to you, go right ahead. But holy smokes, don’t put your costume on and do it for Instagram. That’s about as lame as it gets.
