Yankee Jim?
Iāll just say they were on the public, in a quota unit that hadnāt been filled yet. Nothing that nice in the group but I also didnāt spend a lot of time looking as I was driving.
One of those rams very well may be the twine ramThey look bailing twine legal
I was pretty bummed when there were 9 trucks at the trail head at the end of a road that I thought only jeeps and atv's could make it up.I saw way too many of you in there this year. The weather was too nice for once!
Pro tip: maybe donāt sit on the skyline all day every day. If I can see you at 4 miles with my naked eye, the sheep surely do too. At all times I could spot at least 1 person on the skyline during every minute of daylight. Come on noobs, get it together.
I guess thatās what I get for hunting even remotely close to a popular area, which looked like a KOA campground this year.
You know I was just kidding, I binge read this thread when I first joined HT and super impressive to get it done in that country. Youāve got a very impressive trophy. Iāve gotta give it a go before itās no longer a thing. One of those rams very well may be the twine ram
Nothing like bringing a 1 month old full size up a jeep trail..I was pretty bummed when there were 9 trucks at the trail head at the end of a road that I thought only jeeps and atv's could make it up.
I was even more surprised that there was a dually.
Haha I did hear a rumor that someone rolled the tire off their rim about 5 miles past where they should have parked it.Nothing like bringing a 1 month old full size up a jeep trail..
-buff job ~$200
-new tire $405
-running boards carved out
-no sheep spotted āpricelessā

Congrats to the lucky hunter! Was way more crowded in there this year than I have ever seen it in 22 years I have been messing around in there. I decided 5-6 years ago I would never drive my truck up that road again. After the damage to the road from the flooding 2 springs ago I canāt believe anyone got a stock pickup up there. I was shocked to see several there that still looked functional although their paint sure took a beating. Even with all that pressure I managed to come out heavy again, but itās not my story or pictures to share soā¦only the dead ram knows.
Every damn truck.. its still painful the first time!Wait.. yāall donāt ruin paint jobs on rigs while hunting?View attachment 293465
