Emily's first deer

Emily connected on her first deer Sunday morning. Since last year she said she was NOT going to take a doe and passed on numerous anterless opportunities. This little fellar provided a standing broadside shot at 40-50 yards and the shooter did a mighty fine job on shot placement. The 100 gr Nosler Partition delivered from my .257 Roberts took both lungs, he ran 30 yards uphill and tipped over out of sight. Em was thrilled, so was Dad.
