is there any way to cross the salmon river by the long tom camp grounds? I thought you might know.

Where is Long Tom campground at? Is it by Long Tom rapid, or by Long Tom Bar?

What unit are you looking at? I thought you were considering unit 27, and the Middle Fork drainages...

long tom campground is just east of where the middle fork and the salmon come together. We are trying to get south of there.

No bridges gar man. There is a cable car that goes to a private residence that is not available for use. I've known a few folks that canoe across and go up the face. There is a rough trail.

You can canoe/portage up to goat creek if you go up the middle fork.
