Earliest Hunting Season

If all goes well I will be in school somewhere again next fall, so that limits my ability to go on a trip anywhere to hunt. I was wondering when the earliest hunting season is in your state. I would love to be able to squeeze a hunt in before classes start or right after they are over. Basically, are there any seasons open in August or May/June?? Thanks for any and all help.

Archery begins August 25th, 2001 in (ends Sept. 23rd) Colorado, some units are draw for elk and some are over-the -counter. Mule deer are all draw licences

In CA A zone archery starts in July and Rifle the second weekend in August.
