Dumb Question

How do you start a survey/poll on this site?

Write your thread out, and then there's a box you click down below the text box asking if you want to add a poll. Select it, and then it will let you add the poll after you submit the new thread, and before it actually posts to the forum.

Well, obviously I am a dumb chit. Went and tried it, and can't find the button. Appears as though Moosie wants to lock me out of the ability to do that.

Try and get Oak to explain to you why sometimes when you go to Edit a post, then Go Advanced, to save your changes you have to click Vote Now .......

The screen should look like this, and the poll option is just above the lower of the two "submit new thread" buttons.

MAke sure the Buttons CLICKED and you have how many questions you want in the poll.....

I'm telling you guys, I am kinds of slow on the uptake, so I will probably never post a poll.

The only hope I have of solving technology problems is to call my son and enlist his help. Since he is off at college and too busy with girls, I guess I am not going to be posting any threads that have a poll.

I was just curious how it worked, but given my ignorance, will probably quit trying to figure it out and quit displaying my stupidity.
