You ever get drawn and then wish you hadn't? I applied for a lot of tags in several states and was given the usual "not selected" or "unsuccessful" answer in all of them. Today I found out I got drawn, but I wish I hadn't - somehow opening that envelope from the IRS telling me I've been drawn for a random audit just wasn't what I hoped for. It wouldn't be half as bad if yesterday I hadn't got the bad news from Wyoming ............ I thought I had that antelope draw figured out:(. At least the day ended somewhat positive, I've heard a chukar talking the last few nights when I was doing my irrigation, tonight he showed up on an old fence post and I had the camera.

Ouch. Clever start to the thread, though - I sure bit hard. I was already starting to frown after the first sentence and wondering why in the hell someone would apply for a tag they didn't really want. That's like someone shooting an animal they were unhappy with - although I have shot a few beavers I was sorry about later. ;)

Best of luck with the IRS. That's gotta be about as much fun as taking a baseball bat to the nuts.

Might not be so bad, if the auditor is a good looking young gal.
