"Interior is focused on expanding outdoor recreation opportunities, removing unnecessary barriers to access and use and managing public lands in a way that benefits the American people."

“At the same time, we have a responsibility to be good stewards of these lands. By seeking public input on both recreational climbing guidance and wilderness stewardship and access policies, we are taking a thoughtful approach that supports recreation, improves management and helps ensure these iconic landscapes remain available for future generations.”

I don’t see a problem with any administration taking a look at use and management priorities over wilderness study areas. WSA annoy me, make them wilderness already. Shit or get off the pot. We certainly don’t need any more “accessible” lands, unless your in the business of selling OHVs on your hunting YouTube channel!

Hopefully everyone submits their comments on this one.

Yeah, no. During the process of rescinding the roadless conservation rule they come up with this? Just to open access, huh. So what, the wilderness study areas will now be ADA accessible like the first thirty spaces in a Walmart parking lot? Wake up, people, no one who needs mechanization to ambulate is clambering at the gates of these WSAs wishing they could wheel down those rocky trails. Going straight into development under the auspices of “housing needs” was too bold a lie. Now the bad men will try to dismantle what protections exist in the DOI lands under another lie.
