DOI hearings & BF is mentioned by NM Sen. Martin Heinrich!

I was just catching the end of the Senate Hearings on DOI & Zenke.
Sen. Martin Heinrich of NM in his comments & ?'s today mentioned Randy Newberg & his YT OYOA heli-hunt & the subject of how we are cut off from our public lands more & more.
This is right after saying he and his family spent the break hunting on public lands in a BLM Conservation Area and one of his sons taking his 1st elk and how much hunting & fishing on OUR Public Lands is so important to them & NM citizens.
Wow.
Always was proud of my Senator,but he did all outdoors folks a favor today.
Always proud to say I have shook hands with Randy Newberg,Hunter.

Just to clarify.

Was he somehow using the helicopter as proof that we don't have roads/access to areas?

Without context, I could see that anecdote being twisted a couple of different directions.

Yes,that this public land is inaccessable now due to encroachment & gate locking...... and BF had done this to access it.
Not your typical Senator twisting his own alternative reality or facts.Just there is access problems & getting worse & that BF had done this to hunt it.
Sorry,will try & find full hearing on cspan.
I have TV going,online,& on hold with TrumpCare....to find out if I have any now,but that is an alternative reality now.
