"We don't need a 'commission' to find out how 9-11 happened.
The truth is in the timeline....In February 1993, the World Trade Center was bombed by Muslim fanatics, killing five people and injuring hundreds. Clinton, advised by Dick Clarke, did nothing. In October 1993, 18 American troops were killed in a savage firefight in Somalia. The body of one American was dragged through the streets of Mogadishu as the Somalian hordes cheered. Clinton responded by calling off the hunt for Mohammed Farrah Aidid and ordering our troops home. Osama bin Laden later told ABC News: 'The youth ... realized more than before that the American soldier was a paper tiger and after a few blows ran in defeat.' In November 1995, five Americans were killed and 30 wounded by a car bomb in Saudi Arabia set by Muslim extremists. Clinton, advised by Dick Clarke, did nothing. In June 1996, a U.S. Air Force housing complex in Saudi Arabia was bombed by Muslim extremists. Clinton, advised by Dick Clarke, did nothing. Months later, Saddam attacked the Kurdish-controlled city of Erbil. Clinton, advised by Dick Clarke, lobbed some bombs into Iraq hundreds of miles from Saddam's forces. In November 1997, Iraq refused to allow U.N. weapons inspections to do their jobs and threatened to shoot down a U.S. U-2 spy plane. Clinton, advised by Dick Clarke, did nothing.

In February 1998, Clinton threatened to bomb Iraq, but called it off when the United Nations said no. On Aug. 7, 1998, U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania were bombed by Muslim extremists. Clinton, advised by Dick Clarke, did nothing. On Aug. 20, Monica Lewinsky appeared for the second time to testify before the grand jury. Clinton responded by bombing Afghanistan and Sudan, severely damaging a camel and an aspirin factory. On Dec. 16, the House of Representatives prepared to impeach Clinton the next day. Clinton retaliated by ordering major air strikes against Iraq, described by the New York Times as 'by far the largest military action in Iraq since the end of the Gulf War in 1991.'

The only time Clinton decided to go to war with anyone in the vicinity of Muslim fanatics was in 1999 -- when Clinton attacked Serbians who were fighting Islamic fanatics. In October 2000, our warship, the USS Cole, was attacked by Muslim extremists. Clinton, advised by Dick Clarke, did nothing.

Bush came into office telling his national security adviser, Condoleezza Rice, he was 'tired of swatting flies' -- he wanted to eliminate al-Qaida. On Sept. 11, 2001, when Bush had been in office for barely seven months, 3,000 Americans were murdered in a savage terrorist attack on U.S. soil by Muslim extremists. Since then, Bush has won two wars against countries that harbored Muslim fanatics, captured Saddam Hussein, immobilized Osama bin Laden, destroyed al-Qaida's base, and begun to create the only functioning democracy in the Middle East other than Israel. Democrats opposed it all -- except their phony support for war with Afghanistan, which they immediately complained about and said would be a Vietnam quagmire. And now they claim to be outraged that in the months before 9-11, Bush did not do everything Democrats opposed doing after 9-11. What a surprise." --Ann Coulter

A letter to the editor in the same e-newspaper:

"Let me see if I get this straight (I'm a victim of public education). Clinton and his administration, including Richard Clarke, gets their first warning that Osama bin Laden is a potential adversary early in '93 with the first WTC bombing. Follow that up with the Somalia debacle & Blackhawk down. Clinton's response was always the same. 1. Pound fist on podium. 2. Bite Lower lip and "feel pain" of victims 3. Vow to bring perpetrators to justice. 4. Do Nothing to deter, discourage, or counter terrorism. 5. Go back to working on getting re-elected. This modus operandi re-assured the terrorists that they had nothing to fear from the American President, he was a paper tiger. As we used to call his type in my military days, 'Simonize' after the floor wax. Shine a mile wide and no depth. Mr. Clarke has been the chief counter-terrorism expert, responsible for advising both Clinton and Bush. After his track record of the Clinton administration, I would be embarrassed to point a finger at Bush for "not taking the threat seriously enough". We all saw how seriously the Clinton administration took the terrorist threat. And now Mr. Kerry comes along and lectures us on how the terrorist threat is exaggerated! Ask the Spaniards in Madrid if they still feel that the terrorist threat is exaggerated!"

I received this note from a friend, and as asked by him, I am passing it on. It is good to be reminded of the past when the news media is so full of distortions and half truths. It puts a whole different light on Bush's quest to quell the radicals of the world and to strike before being attacked. (berge's axiom: Never go to a gun fight without a gun; and the guy who wins the quick draw is the guy who had his gun drawn before the fight began).

Subject: Bush Covered It

You know, it is easy to forget the 'promises' that Bill and Hillary made while in office. It strikes home when it is listed like this:

After the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, which killed six and injured 1000;President Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.

BUSH COVERED IT!

After the 1995 bombing in Saudi Arabia, which killed five U.S. military personnel; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.

BUSH COVERED IT!

After the 1996 Khobar Towers bombing in Saudi Arabia, which killed 19 and injured 200 U.S. military personnel; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.

BUSH COVERED IT!

After the 1998 bombing of U.S. embassies in Africa, which killed 224 and injured 5,000; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.

BUSH COVERED IT!

After the 2000 bombing of the USS Cole, which killed 17 and injured 39 U..S. sailors; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.

BUSH COVERED IT!

Maybe if Clinton had kept his promise, an estimated 3,000 people in New York and Washington, D.C. that are now dead would be alive today.

BUSH TOLD THOSE FIREMAN -- THEY WOULD HEAR FROM US TOO!

And, now that Bush is taking action to bring these people to justice, we have DemocRats charging him with being a war monger...

AN INTERESTING QUESTION: This question was raised on a Philly radio call-in show. Without casting stones, it is a legitimate question. there are two men, both extremely wealthy. One develops relatively cheap software and gives billions of dollars to charity. The other sponsors terrorism. That being the case, why was it that the Clinton administration spent more money chasing down Bill Gates over the past eight years than Osama bin Laden?

THINK ABOUT IT!

It is a strange turn of events. Hillary gets $8 Million for her forthcoming memoir. Bill gets about $12 Million for his memoir yet to be written. This from two people who have spent the past 8 years being unable to recall anything about past events while under oath!

Sincerely, Cmdr Hamilton McWhorter USN(ret)

In this article C.Rice releases e-mail information from Clark where he defends what the President had done in the summer before 9/11. She also gives information about meetings Clark missed, reports he gave to the President late.

It pretty looks like Clark is trying to sell his book to me. It makes me think he is lieing scum. He said he lied in a letter praising Bush himself, as I understand the news.

Its great that Bush appointed this commission to find out what happened to the world's intelligence operations.

The comm. in England appointed by Tony Blair was just to find out about Iraq. This US comm. has smarter and more thorough tasks assigned to it.

Bush was smart there.

The 9-11 Commission = a total waste of OUR money. It's purely a political move in an election year. That millions of dollars could be put to better use, like controlling our boarders. Bob

For the face value of it, I say the COMM is a waste of time and money. For the attempt to quell the conspiracy theory, I think it is worth every cent.

History is written by the victors, the history of 911 wont be written until after this presidential election.

The other point I see hear is that the Femacrats are doing every thing they can with the help of our major news media to indoctrinate the sheeple of the U.S. into believing that which is not true. Seems like a lot of propaganda perpetrated by our Socialist Engineers of the lost regimes of power to regain that which they have rightly forfeited do to the bastardization of what is right... ;)
Comming from my bunker listening to my AM radio....LMAO!!!!
