I'm considering switching over from my aluminum 2413's to the Easton ACC. Since they are made of both aluminum and carbon, do they bend? Or do they self destruct like other carbons?

Any other recommendations for a LIGHT carbon is appreciated as well. I'm finding most carbons weigh the same as my current aluminum shaft.

Thanks,

T Bone

T-Bone, I don't shoot ACC'sbut I do shoot beman matrix which are basically the same thing. Yes they do bend, I have had two of the bend a little at some 3-d shoots.

T-bone I have shot ACC's since 1994 and yes they will bend. They are pretty tough though and it take quite a bet to bend one. I really like them and think that they are kinda the best of both worlds, but they are a bit pricey.
