Sounds like a fun hunt. I’ve shot a lot of bucks in my life but the older I get the happier I am with taking a doe. They are delicious, fun to hunt and I enjoyed the heck out of my black powder doe hunt this year. Mine wasn’t as hard of a haul out as yours but mine was a solo hunt and I enjoyed the hell out of it. Congrats

Love moms like that! My Mom climbed Mount Powell above Deerlodge with my brother and I at 72. She still works on her push up form. Inspirational moms!

Pretty solid Alabama buck from this weekend’s trip back to the Black Belt with some old friends. Knocked over two more does myself, 8 deer total for the group over three days.

Not exactly sure when they drop down here but I spotted this buck still hard horned while turkey hunting in the middle of April.
