Found a nice Montana buck this morning. He was rubbing/raking brush when I shot him, trying to impress the doe he was with I guess. 6.5 creedmoor loaded with a Barnes 120 TTSX.

My Great Grandpa's deer from the 40s was remounted with a cape from a buck I shot last year in Colorado. I thought y'all would like to see how it turned out

I was able to arrow this guy on Halloween evening and recovered yesterday morning. Having my son out for the recovery was the best part, SD archery only public area.

What made you decide to shoot a meat buck this early in the season?

11th hour new mexico buck. First mule deer for ya boy.

I was able to tag a pretty decent mule deer buck today at the family ranch. A darn good couple of days.
