Found a nice Montana buck this morning. He was rubbing/raking brush when I shot him, trying to impress the doe he was with I guess. 6.5 creedmoor loaded with a Barnes 120 TTSX.

My Great Grandpa's deer from the 40s was remounted with a cape from a buck I shot last year in Colorado. I thought y'all would like to see how it turned out

What made you decide to shoot a meat buck this early in the season?

Took this 10 point early this morning with my Freedom Arms model 83 in 41 mag. The bullet was a hand loaded 250 grain cast hollow point. 75 yard shot 50 yard recovery.
