Interesting how the royal points jump outward instead of following the shape of main beams. Very unusual. I bet he was a nasty one to tangle with in the rut!

That spot in the Thorofare is in Yellowstone NP. It took two and a half days of serious hiking to get there. It was one of the four straight days of that full week when we saw no other person all day long.
