My 4 year old wanted to try out his "Red Ryder" that his grandpa got for him. It's never too early to start them, even if it is a little long for him. I hope this time next year to move him up to a .22 chipmunk rifle. He hit the water bottle about 15 feet out the first 3 times he tried it, and he insisted on doing it all himself. He's so anxious to start hunting.

Very cool! I have 3 boys grown now. They each started with red ryders and shot the heck out of them. They now reside in my gun safe waiting on future grandchildren.

It's a vicious cycle: Red Ryder, chipmunk, 6.5 manbun.
