...almost didn't get past son in law's name. Worthy cause though, good for them.
Jerry Jones' son-in-law, Shy Anderson, cleaned the Dallas Cowboys owner's glasses on national television and decided to try to make money off the popularity.
Anderson came up with a microfiber cloth for cleaning glasses and called them "Jerry Wipes." He attached a $2.99 price tag to them and made them available on the team's official website.
But who would really purchase those?
Well, apparently, a lot of people.
According to The Dallas Morning News, the product was no longer available on the website Thursday afternoon because the complete inventory had been sold.
"I thought I had ordered more than we would ever need, and we sold out in one night," Anderson told the Morning News.
Although he declined to provide numbers, Anderson said a second order has been placed and is now available for purchase.
All of the earnings reportedly go to a Salvation Army program that provides glasses to kids in need.
