Don’t you love your neighbor that doesn’t care about dandelions ?

I bought this dandelion puller and almost wore it out in my yard and they weren’t nearly as prolific as the neighbor’s…

I had a city lawn for a few years. I lost the lawn battle to dandelion neighbors and clover loving elk spreading seeds in manure. I now have a country yard to feed my bees.

All my neighbors yards look the same so I don’t feel too bad.

Could be worse. My dad deals with neighbors that don’t care about bull thistle, skeleton weed and star thistle. I deal with neighbors that don’t care about dandelions and Canada thistle

Where’d you find that tool Shrap?
I’d like to see a pic of the whole thing. Looks like it works better than the old screwdriver technique
I found it at Home Depot. It’s a fantastic thistle and dandelion puller. It has those four fingers that you push into the ground with your foot and then that long bar you just pry back on it and it squeezes down those prongs against the whole root of the dandelion and pulls it right out of the ground.

Mine think all these flowers that show up on their own are pretty. Drives me nuts. In the alley they all let the knapweed grow, so with that I donate my own time and supplies to spray them and keep thier land value a touch higher.

Thanks!

Bees gotta have something.
To many people caught up with looks. Need to start converting lawns into native habitat.

I rented a house with a front yard full of dandelions which the landlords battled constantly. We had a tight wood fence separating it from the backyard. The backyard had zero dandelions. Then they replaced that old wood fence with a chainlink fence. Next year the backyard was full of dandelions too. It amazed me what a solid border did to prevent the spread of them.

You should see the closest old farm house by me. Our properties butt up. Renters live there now. The grass got so bad last year they had someone bale the yard. They really know how to make my day. I wish all they had was dandelions.
