Current and Hopeful tags of 2020

Just wondering what tags everyone has so far and what tags are you guys still hoping to have this year.

I currently have just my MT deer tag. Hoping for for a WY deer/antelope tag too if not I’ll try to pick up a CO leftover elk tag. If I get stupid lucky maybe I’ll have a sheep/goat/moose tag here in WA

No tags yet. I’m hoping for a Nevada deer tag, and in the likely scenario I don’t draw there, I’ll shoot for Wyo deer. If I strike out there I’ll go OTC here in Oregon. Like you, I also have a minute chance at a home-state sheep tag. Yeah, right.

Struck out on everything so far. Hopefully I will successfully draw an easy to obtain elk and deer tag for Colorado that I applied for. Will also put in for the PA elk draw but I’m not holding my breath.

0/4 probably be 0/8 by the end of the drawings and end up in Colorado or Idaho OTC elk hunting.

I just hope all the years of battling otc units will have me prepared if I ever do draw a good tag. And that’s a big IF.

So far I have an AZ late rifle elk tag and an Idaho OTC Cow Elk tag. Waiting on draws in WY, ID, CO, NV, UT, and MT.

Drew MT NR Big Game combo (elk and deer, general). Bought PP at time of application. Still waiting on UT resident deer tag an MT Deer B (doe). Hope to take 4 animals this year myself and 3 for my son. We’ll give away the meat for all but 2 since so many people are in need.

So far just deer and elk here in WA did draw the multi season deer this year so that opens up the choices for drawing. hoping for a UT muzzy General deer or maybe an NV muzzy deer not holding my breath. AZ Coues would be nice got the wife convinced we need a vaca down there after thanksgiving lol still holding out for a sheep, moose or goat tag here in WA or any of the other states I’ve applied for. Didn’t draw AZ elk.

Archery bull elk? I had a tag a couple years ago but had to turn it back in for medical reasons.

15 points for desert bighorn is the only other thing I might even be close on for the units I applied for.

2 points for antelope, so not expecting anything.

My daughter put in for junior deer, cow elk, antelope and desert bighorn ram as well.

She had a deer tag, doe antelope and ewe bighorn last year, and filled all tags.

I have a Montana deer tag, I will probably pickup a Montana whitetail doe tag and a Montana turkey tag as well.

Here at home I will have the standard 2 buck tags, 3 doe tags, and 1 either sex tag.

I only applied for a muzzleloader buck antelope tag in CO. Points for deer and elk since I don't know where I'll be living in September/October time frame with selling my house. I'll also grab a leftover doe muzzy tag as well. I'm hoping to get a bull elk tag in Wyoming as well as a couple of doe antelope tags.

I'll hunt in home state tags for:
ID gen deer/elk/lion with hounds

Hopeful for:
NV everything
UT everything
MT sheep/goat
CO sheep/goat/moose
If I draw one of those I will be really stoked. Between 12-18 points in those states.

Making possible plans to burn antelope points in WY and MT is low end units, depending on how results go in the above. Those are basically weekend or weekend and a day type of hunts so don't cut into work time.

Have a family 3rd rifle elk hunt in CO if I dont draw a big 3 tag or premium elk tag.
