    Did you have any luck in WY Unit 99? We're thinking of applying for it this year. We're non-residents so can't hunt the wilderness so curious if you found elk off the wilderness?

    I was only able to hunt the last 2 days of the season but I did run into a herd on the southern boundary of the unit. Not sure if they were pushed down by snow or not.

    No... not much online about it either. I am just going for the Gen tag from now on. I did keep seeing an elk herd on private in the town of Farson, but on the map it looks like they were on the unit 100 boundary. You could always draw the spike tag as a second choice, hunt the unit first before you burn your points.
