Now that deer season is over I am getting serious on getting coyotes. Here are a few pictures. I am trapping , snaring and calling.

Love to see more.

The coyotes I see here in the desert seemed malnourished compared to yours.

Look well fed and that might not be a good thing.

One from the weekend

The other side wasn't as pretty, working up a more fur friendly load.

Looks like you guys have some snow. None on the east side of the state.

What are you shooting?

Mines a Remmy lightwight .204 with 45 grain pills. Very fur friendly and knocks them down.

Nice pics and yes it Tis The Season! Looks like I might actually get a break in the wind later this week. I will be all over calling everyday the wind isn't howling...which around here isn't all that often.

22-250 A-Bolt I really never spent a lot of time with.

Wasn't even sure of the load, but after the shot I learned it wont work.

Are you washing your hides after you skin them and how do you like those adjustable wood stretchers?

Yep, the hides get washed after they get skinned. Those wood stretchers are home made. Our fur buyer requested the wood over the metal. At the end of the season I will have a better idea on how I like them. As of now, I like the metal(wire) better.

Mine suggested wire but I thought the adjustable wood would be nice as our coyotes can vary a lot in size. Keep up the good work.
