I am looking for a new cot pad for next year and am looking for suggestions(I don't care for inflatables). Right now I am leaning toward the Davis Tent cot pad (3", $79)w/cover. I would love to have the Tempur-pedic 3" topper but don't want to drop the $299. Anyone have the Davis? All thoughts welcome.

Cot Pad

Being the cheapskate that I am I opted for a Walmart 3/4 inch exercise mat for 15 bucks. It's made 4 trips to WY as well as several fishing trips in KY. Use it on a Cabela's Trek cot and it seems to work well. I am north of 60 so I want comfort on the cheap!

I have the Davis pad and its awesome. Have had it for many years and use it on the cot and have used it right on the ground in a small dome tent. If your camping close to the vehicle than you cant go wrong. Spending a week or two at a time in camp a good night sleep is one of the most important things to me.

Now if I could just find a incredible pad for backpacking I would be set
