When I was a junior in High School I worked at a fairly large dairy farm for the area. I ran out if Copenhagen. A good friend of mine that worked there also said, here, have a cigarette. No crap in your teeth. Perfect. 12 years and 2 packs a day of Marlboro Reds later, I quit. Over 30 years ago.

Hey, I might have an old aluminum drip coffeepot if you want? Like new. I will see if wife will check basement in my camp stash area. I had right knee meniscus surgery at noon today. Torn in 3 places, hurt like hell and so much better tonight! Using ice therapy machine with cycling compression, 30 min on, 30 min off. But no way in hell can I go to basement right now. Then again my wife would say sure! I will bring food down!

I’ve never been a smoker. I Hated going to bars back in the day when they allowed smoking and your clothes reaked of it. My grandpa lit the next one off the one in his mouth. I remember fondly the smell of his cigarette, the water, and a carbureted 2 stroke outboard.
Memories. My Grandfather chewed leaf. I remember as a little kid when he spit in the snow as I followed him around wondering what he was eating. Licorice he would say. When I asked for some he always said he ate the last piece. Every time. Miss him. mtmuley

Great grandpa did as well. Made it into his 90's. I think the nicotine is what kept him going.

My grandpa was 85? When he passed. I’m certain the cigs are what kept him going.

Haven't had a pinch since '88. Still dream of it from time to time. In dreams I can't ever get it all outta my mouth.

I pick that up in my cup all the time.
I’m no scientist but I recon it’s got something to do with the roasting of the beans and the roasting/toasting of the tobacco.
I’ve never been a smoker but have had a few while drinking. Don’t mind the flavor in my coffee every now and again.
