I have some. Could trade you straight across for Varget?Just realized I have less than half a pound of H4895.
Anybody have some and what do you want for it?
Thanks for the heads up. Been looking for some.H1000 and a selection of others in stock at PV. I picked up some H4350, H4831SC, BLC2, Varget, 777 just to top off the supplies in the cabinet.
Saw that. Some on gunbroker but you’d have to need it pretty bad…
I've been searching for that one for the last couple of years. I also use it for reduced loads and for my short barreled '06. No dice yet. I've seen just about every OTHER powder come through, but...Just realized I have less than half a pound of H4895.

Official answer is discontinued by Hodgdon. Same with Trail Boss.I've been searching for that one for the last couple of years. I also use it for reduced loads and for my short barreled '06. No dice yet. I've seen just about every OTHER powder come through, but...
Same. I have some I really don’t need anymore. If anyone needs some let me know.I have three pounds of H4895 I’d be willing to sell or trade locally in Southwest Montana. PM if interested.
What?! It’s a classic, very popular powder. They told you that?Official answer is discontinued by Hodgdon. Same with Trail Boss.
The only reduced load powder out there is Vihtavuori Tin Star. - Unobtanium
I'm reaching out to them again for clarification. Trail Boss for sure. What?! It’s a classic, very popular powder. They told you that?
I found some chatter about IMR 4895 being discontinued, but not Hodgdon.I'm reaching out to the again for clarification. Trail Boss for sure.
Good for you. I swear by them.Midway has a 10% off a lot of stuff and free shipping ($50+) right now. Finally got myself a cartridge checker today so I don’t need to load live rounds anymore as part of my reloading ritual.
I thought SW was Czech?-------------------
All Shooter's World Powder come from Lovex in Germany
Good Catch. If you google Lovex powders it says they are based in Germany, but the Shooter's World website specifically says they are imported from Explosia Company, Czechoslovakia.I thought SW was Czech?
