Rain, Sagebrush, and Muleys……

Left WNC at 3am heading west to NM.
Arrived in Amarillo at 8pm.
Left this AM (cue George Strait song)…Amarillo by morning

Took some time this afternoon to scout. This was at the same time that a huge thunder and lightning storm came through. Visibility limited

Does still were out in the rain.

On the way home, saw this interesting owl

Saw 4 bucks this AM. Good bit of rain and fog all day. Stayed in the 50s all day. Beautiful red tail hawk working the area. Drove in and did some glassing and saw 2 does, even with the rain.




Came back and rested until the afternoon. Went back out and a little rain but it broke off and so we glassed and scouted a good bit the rest of the night. Saw 11 does and 2 nice bucks.



God is good! Looking forward to daybreak and hopefully no moisture.
