I put my son in for the Colorado Youth Moose Hunt on Monday. It is a great deal as it is a full camp. It is an instructional program that involves the child (mine is 15) and parent/guardian setting up a full camp, ensuring zero on the weapon and proficiency of the shooter and the basics of moose hunting from hunting mentors and Huntmasters. Best of all it is outside the usual moose rules and limits for CO so even if he gets one he will have another shot later. My boy is such a great kid I hope he gets a shot. If any of ya'll praying folks we could sure use a place on your list. Hope everyone draws well this year!!!
