Colorado Late Season Unit 38

I have a late season deer tag that is only good for the Jefferson County portion of unit 38. In terms of public land that really only seems to give me the Ralston Creek SWA and portions of the Golden Gate State Park. I hunted Ralston for a day and saw almost no sign even with pretty fresh snow. I have yet to check out Golden Gate but it is filled with trails and gets a lot of non-hunting traffic. Is anyone familiar with these two areas or know of any other public land options I'm missing? Thanks.

Apart from the main portion of GG state park, there is a property called Green Ranch. Shouldn't be many hikers. Call the park. There are limits on access.
