Pollis is a lame duck, term limited, can't run again. That gives him latitude to pursue his own agenda, separate from influence of constituents and polls. However, vetoes can be overridden.

What's frustrating is this is a common sense, politically unmotivated bill. It gives CPW the power to manage this as their own... which was the intent the whole time. I really hope he signs it.
