CO Unit 15

I am looking for any info on unit 15 in CO. I was looking to go on a hunt in Sarvis Creek. I have read some posts on here about the area that are conflicting. I’m not looking for hot spots by any means. Just any helpful information regarding it being worth my time to rifle hunt! Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Have you hunted CO before? Get on the CDOW website and start digging around. I can confirm elk live in the unit during archery season.

You might want to check on the fire that has been going on since July. I know the road was closed going to that area.

What season? Plenty of elk in there, also a lot of hunters. Find the pockets of sanctuary and you should find a few elk.

Did you ever end up hunting that area? That is one of the spots I have marked on the map to check out. Just wondering what your thoughts were?
