Putting a split ring around the shanks for each hook pair eliviates the need for solder. Also putting a split ring in the attachment hole cuts down of line cutting. good luck.

Thanks Dave. I'll try that next time. I was using a Sampo swivel to attach, and I think that it changed the action. What line size do you use for the 1/2oz or 3/4oz Cicad's?
