Hear it quite often. I just tell them that the quarry runs too fast for an old fart like me. Wonder if he was using a grey hackle with peacock or maybe a muddler minnow?
I was fishing behind the Visitor Center in Estes Park early one morning and a bull moved his harem from the golf course across the river 20 yards downstream of me. I didn't notice until some of the cows were running up the bank on the other side of the river. Turned around and realized I must have come very close to hitting them with my back cast.
Thanks for sharing!
BTW - I always have people ask me if I caught anything while hunting. I tell them that I don't really catch them, I shoot them and then I don't have to catch them, which sounds hard.
