Truly blessed, drew the best Antelope tag in the state (Lassen). Drew my third choice Deer so I still keep those points.

I drew this hunt before the points system was put in place. Lots of critters in the Smoke Creek Canyon area.

Duly noted for next year. Thanks for the good information. This being our first time ever doing this (we have 0 pts)and not wanting to travel long distances(we live in S. CA) is why the A for our second tag.

My buddy drew the one and only sheep tag in the South Bristol Mtns! I will be going with him. It was his first time ever applying for anything!! I will get two A tags then do my yearly archery whitetail in TX in Nov, then back to TX in Jan for archery Javelina again. All free range! Can’t wait!!

I drew A17 Archery Tag X9b. I have drawn archery x tags as my second choice for last 3 years. My first choice is always a general x zone and then archery everything else. I like this strategy because when you draw a really good x tag you are already familiar with the area.
