Buy a new 357 Magnum (Which would you buy?)

If you are purchasing a new 357 Magnum to use, not for your collection, which would you buy?

I just thought of something. I have a 44 magnum (2 now) but was wondering for those of you in bear country, would you feel it would do the job, or have any of you had experience with killing a bear with a 357 Magnum. I know it will kill other animals from a hunting standpoint and a defense standpoint.
Years ago, a Mt game warden was releasing a grizzly from a cylinder trap that was in the back of his truck. Upon release the bear turned around and shook the trap thus causing the warden to fall to the ground. The bear attacked and chewed his leg briefly while the warden fired 6 rounds into the head of the bear killing it. I believe they were 158 grain HP's. So it will work but there are better choices of calibers and bullet design.

So my main concern is that I might be in grizzly country hunting elk this fall. I already own an LCR .357 mag and a Super Redhawk 44 with a 9 1/2" barrel .Obviously I'm not going to carry that around with me. So that led me down the path of the GP100 in .357. I really like the idea of having 7 shots.
